Today we watched a CNN10 episode, completed the written piece that follows as a part of our warm ups, and then watched part of another documentary on Romanov Russia; students who needed more time to finish other assignments did this during the documentary.

Homework: finish and turn in the NewsELA article and questions from Thursday last week I ended up having to be out again today as I got hurt before school and had to go to the doctor. I'll be fine, but I'll be in a boot for a while. Hopefully today everyone was able to watch the CNN10 from November 11th (Armistice Day!) and complete the warm up. I'll see y'all Monday! Be careful going down the stairs!

Homework: finish NewsELA article questions Today blocks 3 and 5 went to the digital age classroom to participate in a propaganda gallery walk in order to analyze various propaganda posters from the WWII era. Block 4 completed questions about various types of propaganda using a NewsELA article on/near their Lexile level.
Homework: blocks 3 and 5 none; block 4 needs to finish the NewsELA questions Happy Armistice Day! Today we had a guest speaker from the Holocaust museum and I am so proud of how everyone engaged in the lesson!
