Today we talked about Veterans Day and how it was once Armistice Day. Today's CNN10 video focused on the 100 year anniversary of the formal ceasefire of WWI. We then watched a video clip about the Russian Revolution and looked at Anastasia's Album book.

Homework: none Today we looked at parts of a couple of CNN10 videos about the elections, watched a short video about the consequences of the Treaty of Versailles, then read about the Russian Revolution and the rise of communism.

I'm working to learn strategies to help you learn faster, understand deeper, and enjoy social studies! Homework: finish PEEL, rough draft, and revision for your Treaty of Versailles DBQ Today we looked at our last piece of evidence (Document D- the war guilt clause of the Treaty of Versailles), completed a PEEL organizer, wrote the rough draft, and revised the paragraph.
Homework: finish PEEL organizer, rough draft, and revision of paragraph Today students who needed to finish the DBQ packet received additional time in class so that they could ask me questions as needed. Students who were done, watched a video on WWI technology advancements.
